These 15 people make up the Tidewater Cru staff team, each serving in different capacities from full time, part time, & volunteers! Cru in the Tidewater area includes schools from Williamsburg down to Virginia Beach, so though there’s a lot of us, we’re spread across the whole scope! Some work on two campuses, so there’s a lot of traveling and a lot of exposure to the various spiritual climates on each campus. God is continually bringing students to Himself, and we’re thankful that He calls us to be part of His work here!
10 Years Strong
Tidewater Cru began in 2009 when Brian and Brooke Barnett decided to move from West Virginia University to the Tidewater area in order to start Cru on the campuses here. Little to their knowledge at the time, the regional office at the time had been praying for this area for decades.
It’s amazing to think that now we’re walking in & experiencing the fruit from prayers that have been prayed for years and years. We’re thankful for what God is doing!
Brian and Brooke have two kids, Graham (7) and Cara (4) and serve as the team leaders for the Tidewater Metro staff team.
